Roof Measurements

How to use

  1. Pick Roof or Siding mode at the top.
  2. Draw each facet or elevation corner by corner on the grid (1 square = 1 ft, everything snaps to 6").
  3. Tap back on your first corner to auto-close a facet β€” no retracing.
  4. Standard layout… auto-draws a Gable, Hip, L, T or Cross Hip roof to your measurements with every edge pre-labeled.
  5. β– Rectangle stamps a facet with one tap β€” drag its corner handles to size it.
  6. ☝ Select: tap a line to re-label (eave/rake/ridge/hip/valley) or delete it; drag ends to reshape, middles to move; tap a facet to rename it; tap a chimney/skylight to resize it.
  7. βœ‚ Split: draw a line across a facet to cut it in two (new edge = ridge).
  8. Set the pitch and add chimneys, pipes, or skylights β€” each shows its letter (C, S, P, V…).
  9. Siding mode has the exact same Rectangle/Select/Split toolset, applied to elevations, edges, and windows/doors/garage doors (each shown with its own letter β€” W/D/G) instead of facets and roof accessories.
  10. Send the measurements to Supplement Builder when done.
